AROUND 40 people gathered at the Methodist Church in Delabole on Sunday, December 3 for the Christingle and toy service.

The service was led by the Rev Bryan Ede and Sue Wilcox. During the service, Christingles were handed out to the congregation and the story of the Christingle was told by some of the Sunday School children.

All the gifts were also placed under the tree, which will go to the Wadebridge Food Bank, which, in turn, will be distributed to local families in the area. After the service, coffee and festive mince pies went down a treat.
