A group in Holsworthy called Christians Together is proposing to provide a pop-in centre in the town.

They intend to find a location with a visible presence in or adjacent to the Square which will be open at different times of day. It will reach out to all sections of the community, young and old, offering a welcome and a safe and friendly atmosphere.

A public meeting to discuss the project will be held at Bodmin St Methodist Church at 7.30pm next Tuesday (March 8) to which all are invited to express opinions or to participate in any way. As the project gets off the ground it is hoped that some grants and sponsorship may be forthcoming.

Christians Together is a new group drawing together people from all denominations in the Holsworthy area whose stated aim is to support Christian activity and witness God's love in the community.
