PLYMOUTH Military Wives' Choir headlined a charity concert in Launceston Town Hall on Saturday, following an invitation from the town's Lions Club, which organised the event.

Launceston Male Voice Choir were delighted to be asked to appear with them and thus 'An Evening of Song' was born.

The capacity audience enjoyed songs from the male voice choir, including 'Let there be Light', 'Away from the Roll of the Sea' and 'The White Rose'.

The Plymouth Military Wives' Choir's repertoire, conducted by their musical director Rob Young, included 'Wherever you are', 'Sing', 'Right here waiting', 'Patchwork' and 'Stronger Together', all of which were very appreciated by the audience.
