THE three trees that were recently planted in Chilsworthy, but then purposely damaged by unknown people, will not be replaced.

On January 18, members of Holsworthy Hamlets Parish Council, county councillor for Holsworthy Rural, Barry Parsons and members from Glendale (tree company) planted three trees — two Prunus (Wild Cherry) and one Sorbus (Whitebeam). These were to replace the trees that were planted four/ five years ago, which, unfortunately, were accidentally damaged and as a result, died.
