BRADWORTHY Primary Academy students, under the guidance of art teacher and sculptor Bryan Sentance, have produced three 'guardian spirits' to look after the children's play area 'the Brash' at RHS Garden Rosemoor, Great Torrington.

The project was started at the beginning of the year and the first stage was to split the class into three groups and each was given one of the 'spirits' to design.
The spirits are constructed out of marine ply and painted with acrylic to help withstand the worst that the weather can throw at them.
"The whole of Year 6 have been involved with this great project where they have designed and built the three spectacular heads," said Mr Sentance.
