CHILDREN at Stratton Primary School have been busy taking part in a Beep, Beep Day as part of National Road Safety Week.
Fiona Hodges, Sustainable Travel Co-ordinator at Stratton, spoke to the children about the danger of traffic on roads and how to keep safe.
The children were then able to learn through role play, the importance of following the green cross code when crossing a road safely.
Mrs Hodges was impressed with the children's eagerness: "I am really proud of all the infant children who joined in with the Beep Beep days this week. They all listened well and were able to apply what they had learned about keeping safe near roads and looking out for each other."
