COMMUNITY Matters at Waitrose has once again supported a local cause in Holsworthy, this time the St Peter’s Fair committee.

Angi Short from Waitrose & Partners in Holsworthy recently presented a cheque for £589 to members of St Peter’s Fair committee following their successful inclusion in their Community Matters green token scheme.

Marilyn Chidley, Community Matters lead, said: “We are delighted that our customers voted for us to support this very hard working committee who put together St Peter’s Fair week, it’s such a fantastic event which the whole community can enjoy and each year it just gets better and better.”

The next fundraiser for the fair committee will be a coffee morning held in Holsworthy Memorial Hall on Wednesday, September 4, from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
