DURING Camelford Show, the Camelford and District Agricultural Association presented a cheque for £100 to Cornwall Air Ambulance.

David Withers, fundraising officer at Cornwall Air Ambulance, said: “As a charity, we rely on support of the people of Cornwall to keep the air ambulance flying, so we are hugely grateful to Camelford and District Agricultural Association for their generous donation.

“Despite the rain and wind, we had a lovely time at the show and managed to talk to lots of people about the lifesaving work of the air ambulance. We also sold more than 100 tickets to win a car as part of the Cornwall Air Ambulance’s 30th anniversary grand draw.”
