THE Bowood Ladies’ Golf Section presented a cheque to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) recently from money raised at their Ladies’ Open Day raffle.

The ladies have enjoyed the summer months with some new members joining and at their recent Ladies’ Open Day a raffle was held and £211 was raised for the children’s hospice.

Trophy winners for the summer were also announced, they were: Rose Bowl — Alison Rawle; Flag Day Trophy — Ann Braithwaite; Veterans Trophy — Anne Cook; Granny Spicer Trophy — Fiona Sweeney; Three Clubs & Putter Trophy — Vivienne Steer.
