A NEW beer has been specially created to help raise funds for Bude Sea Pool.
Plans for the new ale stemmed from Bude-based North Coast Wines, which has its own Bude Sea Pool bottled ale.
Owner Oliver Tullett, a trained chef and mixologist, approached Bude Brewery with the idea of expanding its range and introducing a new ale on mass.
The brewery has named all its ales after parts of Bude and the surrounding areas and crafted the brews with the same unique characters and styles as the places they're named after.
Over the last few months, plans for Bude Sea Pool ale have been brewing and following talks with the Friends of Bude Sea Pool (FoBSP), 12 casks were tried and tested in the area. According to partners feedback has been 'amazing' and as a result, Bude Sea Pool will become the brewery's fifth ale.
With wholesale orders booked as far up as Yorkshire and deliveries as far down as Penzance, soon most of the country will know about the town and its ale.
