THE sixth round of the Winter League was played by 66 Launceston Seniors on Tuesday February 17.

Played in dull but benign conditions on a course in excellent condition it was surprising there were no outstanding scores. All prize winners in the 3 different divisions were within one of par, the Captain's rule of 7 clubs only may have contributed but it has not deterred members in earlier rounds.

Captain Robin cheekily prefaced the 3rd place winner in Division I with "now we have the old boys" and the 2nd place winner with "and now for the children" neither Morley nor Brian seemed over amused. Paul Roach the Division I winner got away scot free. 9 two's were achieved.
