THE Children's Hospice South West and the Camelford Committee of Cancer Research UK, were each presented with a cheque for £750 by the Sports and Social Committee of Camelford Conservative Club. This money was raised at the annual harvest auction held in September. During the past 27 years the club has donated a total of £14,025 to the Cancer Research UK Committee, with a similar amount being donated to various other charities, as a result of their harvest auctions.
