Where's the last place you would expect to hear a rock band playing?

Heavy rockers 'Wish You Well' performed in Bude Library on Friday, December 12. The gig aimed to highlight the many diverse things that are on offer in the modern library, and to attract new users.

The event was a joint venture between the Wish You Well band who performed for free, Bude Library and the Bude Youth Project whose members helped to run the event. Entry to the concert was free with a collection taken for Cancer Research UK.

It's been a great 2008 for Wish You Well, receiving extensive airplay on radio stations in America and across Europe as well as having several songs chart in various UK and US unsigned charts.

In the library Wish You Well performed brand new songs from the soon to be released 'Well, Weird and Warped' album as well as several popular favourites, which ensured a great rocking evening and probably the loudest thing ever to hit a library!
