WHILE browsing in the Great Oaks Hospice shop in Lydney last week I witnessed the following.

A man took a pack of three blank VHS videotapes to the counter and said: "I only usually pay 10p for these but these are priced up at 60p," – making them 20p each.

The lady in the shop eventually let him buy them for 30p. My comment to the man is this – would it really of been too much for you to pay 60p for the benefit of the hospice?

You never know if you, or someone you care about, might need the hospice in the future, so next time don't be so mean and pay the price displayed on the item.
