THROUGHOUT February this year, The Falcon Hotel ran a series of charity lunches in the Lord Tennyson Restaurant.

Their chosen charity was the Cornwall Air Ambulance. Guests enjoyed a two or three course menu, inspired by Peter Gorton, master chef of Great Britain while Paul Ford from the Cornwall Air Ambulance, attended several of the lunches to provide guests with further insight into their valuable work.

Money was raised through guest donations, 50% of wine sales and from the sale of Falcon memorabilia following the recent refurbishment.

In addition to this, Bude Folk Club held a collection during their Folk Weekend at the hotel, which raised £545.73.

The Falcon plans to run more charity lunch events in the future.
