TWO friends from Camelford have had their hair cut off to raise money for charity, as well as donating the hair to a children's wig charity.
Joanne Marshall and Rebecca Toy both had very long, dark curly hair but decided to donate it to The Little Princess Trust, which helps organise wigs for children that have lost their hair for any reason, including during cancer treatment.
The trust needs at least seven inches of hair and on Tuesday, September 17 at Heath's in Wadebridge, the girls had a 33 inches cut off between them. It took Heath and Gail one-and-a-half hours cutting and styling.
