A CHARITY golf day in aid of the NSPCC was a great success and enjoyed by all.
The event, held at Trethorne Golf Club, was won by a team from the Eliot Arms pub, with prizes for the second and third also.
Chairman of Launceston branch NSPCC Martin Ryan said: “I would like to thank all our sponsors and teams who entered and contributed to the day, enabling us to raise nearly £2,000. Also all of the staff and helpers from Trethorne, not forgetting the ladies of the NSPCC. Lets hope for the same next year.”
