CHY Keres Short Break Centre located in Tregadillett held a charity golf day event at Launceston Golf Club on September 28.

The event was held to raise money to buy sensory items for the centre to enable adults with learning disabilities to achieve new goals in their day to day activities.

The day was a great success, enjoyed by all. The event was led by Teresa Vanstone who is a support worker and head of fundraising at Chy Keres and raised £1,715 for the centre.

Teresa said: “The service users and staff at Chy Keres would like to thank Launceston Golf Club for holding the event and also a big thank you to all businesses in and around Launceston who donated great raffle prizes for the event and also those who generously sponsored the event.”
