A COUPLE have raised more than £5,000 for charity at an event in memory of their daughter who passed away at just nine-days-old.

Camelford couple Kerry Burt and Ben Hill set up 'Daisy's Fund' in memory of their daughter, Daisy, who died at the beginning of this year. Daisy had a heart problem, but sadly died at nine-days-old, after having unforseen complications.

The couple also wanted to raise money for Cots for Tots — a charity which supports the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael's Hospital, Bristol. It was at Bristol where Daisy received treatment and thanks to the help of Cots for Tots, which has a house opposite the hospital to cater for people who travel long distances, they were able to spend more time with Daisy.
