HOLSWORTHY Bowling Club (HBC) is offering an opportunity for companies, organisations, charities or friends to take part in its Charity Bowls Challenge on Sunday, August 19 with the chance to win £300 for their nominated charity.

You can take part by entering a mixed (if possible) team of three non-bowling players. The entry fee is £30 per team which includes a two-course lunch with tea or coffee and biscuits. A cash bar will be available. All equipment will be provided, just come in flat shoes.

A club member will be there to help your team. The competition winners will be the team with the highest number of shots overall after two rounds of nine ends.
