A FESTIVE bingo held by the Camelford Cancer Research UK branch has raised over £1,000 for the charity.

The Camelford committee of Cancer Research UK held a very successful Christmas bingo at Camelford Hall in December. The event was organised by Nicky Hill, ably assisted by Roy and Joan Starling. It was extremely well supported. In the absence of committee chairperson Pam Boundy, Madge Walkey, honorary secretary, gave the comprehensive vote of thanks.

A total of £1,359.37 was raised for Cancer Research UK. The committee wishes to thank all those who helped in any way to make the event such a success.
