A CHARITY barbecue held by Roger and Lisa Mills in aid of Cancer Research at their home in Marhamchurch raised more than £1,000. They chose the charity as they said it had affected members of their families over the years and it is also a charity 'that is close to many people's hearts'. Roger's brother Stuart and sister-in-law Mandy helped on the day, barbecueing from 10am to 6pm. There was plenty to do for all the children who came, including bouncy castles, a trampoline and a tree house to play in.
