Proceeds from a successful concert in Launceston Town Hall in April, featuring the Plymouth Military Wives Choir and the Boscastle Buoys, have been presented.
The concert was organised by the Lions Club of Launceston and some of its members were at the Napoleon Inn at Boscastle to present a cheque for £550, which was split between the Lions Club, Boscastle Buoys and the Plymouth Military Wives Choir for their charities.
The cheque was presented by club vice-president Jo Heard.
It was an entertaining evening as the Lions members were treated to singing from the Buoys and also heard the delightful Coastal Belles in action.
