Cheques to local charities and organisations were presented at Poughill Village Hall on Friday, November 20, from the proceeds of this year’s Poughill Revel. The total funds distributed to the charities was £3,200. The following charities received donations: Poughill Methodist Church; St Olaf’s Church, Poughill; Poughill Village Hall; Bude Floral Art; Stratton League of Friends; Devon Air Ambulance; Cornwall Air Ambulance; Bude Metric Brass; Bude Memory Club; Bude Sea Pool; Bude Food Bank. Entertainment for the evening was provided by talented pianist David Robinson.
