HAILING from Jacobstow was Cerys Osborne and her beautiful British Blue Cross, who managed to scoop the overall young champion in the cattle young handler’s class.
The youngster is clearly one to watch in the world of showing as she proudly accepted the champion rosette in the show ring alongside her lovely British Blue Cross.
As Cerys took her place in the ring, proud family member Amy Osborne said: “We’re doing really well. Cerys has just won the overall young champion with her British Blue Cross.
“We have six (animals) with us today — one Blue Cross and five dairy shorthorns. We won reserve interbreed with our cow.”
After a year away from the showing ring due to TB, the Osborne family are now raring to go. “We didn’t come to the show last year because we were down with TB, so that put us down last year, but we usually like to come to Camelford.
“Winning reserved interbreed was definitely the highlight for us this year!”
