Trevena-Tintagel WI celebrated 100 years of the Cornwall Federation of Women’s Institutes with a special day when there was a exhibition of what had happened in those 100 years within WIs.

There were on display craft items learnt through the WI. The Trevena-Tintagel scrapbooks that have been put together over the years showing things that the WI had done with many photographs.

A number of old members joined the branch for the day pouring over the scrapbooks and sharing stories about what was in them.

Finally they, of course, had a cake to celebrate which was cut by president Phyllis Reddock, and shared out among those there.

An enjoyable time of sharing memories going back many years was had by all, although not quite all the hundred years of the Federation.
