THERE were celebrations in Camelford last week as people attended the official launch of the town's Memory Cafe.
The cafe offers support for people who have memory problems and those who are carers or family members of people with memory problems.
Activities take place that provide the opportunity for sharing memories, generating conversation and having a good time, all with a cup of tea and slice of cake!
Carers have the opportunity for discussions about caring and access to guidance and support, and the cafe aims to be a place where people can be themselves and not be embarrassed by the effect that having a poor memory can have.
The Camelford Memory Cafe is open every second and fourth Monday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm at Anvil Court.
