THE team at the Arundell Arms Hotel & Restaurant in Lifton are celebrating, following a fabulous AA inspection recently.
The hotel has increased its AA hotel rating from 3 Stars to 3 Silver Stars and has maintained their 2 AA Rosettes for food and beverage.
The Silver Stars were awarded by the inspector for consistent improvement year on year, with considerable praise given to the improved main entrance, car park and the new Tesla Superchargers. Food during the inspection was considered ‘a real highlight of the visit and improves each year’.
The AA Silver Star rating recognizes hotels that have been selected for their superior level of quality, high standards of hotel keeping, hospitality, service, cleanliness and for the quality of food within its star rating.
General manager, Matt Redhead (who joined the hotel in October 2016), said: “This is such a well-deserved award for the entire team here, all of whom work to a consistently high professional standard in each department, making sure that everyone who comes through our doors receives the very best guest experience. We are thrilled to have received such high praise from the hotel inspector, who was wowed by our fabulous new main entrance.”
