THE Launceston and District Cats Protection annual Christmas fayre was held on Saturday, November 24 at Lifton.
As always, the hall was crammed full of stalls selling bargain-priced items of every variety — books, jigsaws, DVDs, cat-related items, bric-a-brac, jewellery, tombola, large raffle and much more, plus a large stall of homemade cakes.
Teas, coffees, hot pasties, sausage rolls and cake were available.
Supporters were waiting for opening time and Cats Protection helpers were kept very busy.
The fantastic sum of just over £1,114 was raised and the branch were delighted with the result. Many thanks have been extended to all who came and made it such an enjoyable and profitable few hours, and also to all who organised and helped put this event on.
