HOLSWORTHY Day Centre has received just under £1,000 from its local supermarket.

The money was raised from Waitrose's Community Matters scheme and some will go towards creating an outside seating area for clients.

Anne Jose, day centre manager, said: "We would like to record our thanks to Waitrose and all their customers who supported us. We receive no grant aid etc so are extremely grateful for any assistance for the benefit of Holsworthy and district clients."
