PREPARATIONS are well under way for this year’s St Tudy Carnival which will be held on Saturday, July 13.

The carnival will start on the village playing field from 5pm till late with the grand carnival procession taking place at 6.45pm, making its way through the village before finishing back at the playing field where there will be fun for the whole family along with a bar, food, children’s entertainment, doll face make up artist and live music.

There will also be a decorative window competition with the theme of ‘Carnival’.

On Wednesday, July 10, starting at 6pm there will be family fun rounders and in the marquee, open from 6.30pm, ‘A Right Royal Quiz!’ along with a ‘Royal Fancy Dress’ competition, which is optional.

Friday, July 12, will see a charity football match held, with kick off at 6.30pm — Lee’s Legends v Simon’s Superstars — which should provide some great entertainment along with half the monies raised being donated to the St Tudy Football Club.
