THE Camelford carnival committee presented cheques from the money raised at last year’s carnival, when they held their annual quiz night event at Camelford and District Bowling Club.

Roger Clement was the quizmaster. Recipients of cheques for £325 each were Camelford first responders and Friends of Lanteglos Church.

The evening was enjoyed by everyone, and the organisations chosen to benefit from this year’s 2017 carnival on Saturday, October 28 are Camelford Memory Café and Camelford Christmas Lights.
