KERNOW House in Launceston has been busy fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Last Tuesday, entertainer Glenn Johnson sang old top of the pop songs and told jokes. Thursday was National Museum Day and Lawrence House Museum had very kindly lent some items from its collection, including hats, underwear, household objects and a bar of badly smelling carbolic soap, which they used to reminisce.

Friday was the culmination of the fundraiser. There was a raffle, coffee morning and a pick ‘n’ mix cake sale and they raised £131 for Alzheimer’s Society.
