MORE than £200 was raised at a car boot sale in St Breward, recently. Despite the variable blue and grey sky and the hint of rain it turned out to be an enjoyable and fruitful occasion both for the many stallholders and the three organisations, the village's memorial hall, the village hall, and St Breward First Responders which will benefit from the proceeds of the £246 raised. Organiser Norma Harbinson said she was very pleased with the support form sellers and buyers alike and that the event is now recognised as an annual happening in the village, with car booters and table-top holders selling their pre-loved items, to professionally home-made jewellery, etc. For the full report, and a round up of the area news and sport, see this week's edition of the Post.
