AROUND 40 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to £15000 were found by police at a commercial premises near Rogate.

Police used a drugs warrant to raid a premises in Middle Meadow, Durleighmarsh, around 8.30am last Friday.

Officers found the plants in various stages of growth, with an estimated street value of between £5,000 and £15,000. They were contained in two outbuildings. A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and is currently helping police with their enquiries.
