A coffee morning in aid of Cancer Research UK was held by the charity’s local branch at the White Hart Hotel in Launceston on Saturday, November 7.

Despite heavy showers many supporters of Cancer Research UK attended the event. The Christmas card and home produce stalls were busy while the raffle, managed by Julie Mills and Heather, contained some excellent prizes with the ‘chicken dinner’ being won by Ruth Bawden.

Chairman Maureen Ryder-Gordon thanked the committee, the White Hart and everyone who contributed to the organising and supporting of the event. To date the amount raised is £700.
