Rev Ray Avent took up the post of Methodist Minister in Camelford this autumn. He has travelled widely in Christian mission work overseas for CRY (Care and Relief for the Young) in his position as their Voluntary Co-ordinator and also pastored churches in East Sussex, Somerset and Devon in particular. He is willing to visit local groups in this area to share up-to-date information about these enterprises to support children, young people and families. Rev Avent said: "Camelford Methodist is entering into a new and exciting opportunity for service to the community as a whole, with a number of new initiatives in mind for 2010."
