On Wednesday, September 16, Camelford Young Farmers held their Annual General Meeting at Juliot's Well Holiday Park, Camelford. Over the past 12 months the club, under the leadership of Jen White (chairman 2008/2009) and Emma Sikorski (secretary 2008/2009), raised a total of £1,900 for charity. This sum was divided equally between The Happy Hospital Children's Fund, Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, and Cornwall Hospice Care. The club presented both Mr Graham Parkinson (representative of the Happy Hospital Childrens Fund) and Miss Lin Manning (Cornwall Hospice Care representative) with a cheque for £950. Jen and Emma thanked all members and associates for their help and support over the past 12 months and wished all newly elected officers a successful forthcoming year.
