Fifteen members from Camelford Young Farmers have completed their charity Tractor Run in aid of Cancer Research UK. As scheduled, they set off from John O'Groats on Friday, April 9 and arrived in Lands End lunch time on Sunday, April 11. They were very lucky with the weather and only had to travel through a bit of rain on the way up the John O'Groats. The group managed to overcome problems with the minibus and would like to thank the AA for all their help! The tractor and supporting members stopped off in Camelford on route to Lands End and were greeted by family and friends. Such a large turn-out was unexpected and the club would like to thank everyone who welcomed them. The final leg from Fraddon to Lands End was completed by Tom Jones and Clare Ragg who had organised the event. Money raised by each member will be collected in the next few weeks. The final figure will be announced in September at the club's AGM. It is hoped that a total in the region of £5,000 has been raised.
