STUDENTS from Year 8 at Sir James Smith's Community School in Camelford took steps towards a healthy future recently, by attending an event aimed at discouraging smoking.
Around 20 pupils took part in the 'STOPS' event, held at Camelford Hall and run by the NHS Stop Smoking Service. During the day the young people heard about the health risks associated with smoking, ranging from cancer to heart disease and stroke to impotence.
