SOAKED in sunshine and dripping with atmosphere, this year's Camel­ford Show was an outstanding success for organisers, exhibitors, traders and the public alike.

Some dark and miserable days prior looked to negate the enthusiasm that had gone into organising the event in the weeks previously. Any fears, though, were soon put to bed, as bright, warm sunshine shone out over the showground, and a buoyant public flocked to enjoy the numerous trade stands, horticulture and handicraft, food and craft marquees, and entertainment.
