THE Camelford branch of the Royal British Legion has set up a help centre in Camelford Methodist Chapel to benefit the people of the town.

Since the end of World War Two there have been 47 conflicts, which now include Libya, that the country's brave service men and women have been sent to, and those that were wounded have to be cared for together with the families of those who did not survive.

People are also very active in looking after the welfare of those that are serving and have served in Afghanistan. The Royal British Legion spends £1.25 million per week on welfare; no other organisation comes close to that figure.
