FIVE young musical talents from Sir James Smith's School, Camelford, have been awarded their 'Silver Arts Award'. The group, now in Year 10 but who took and succeeded in the award while still in Year 9, have recently received their certificates. Music teacher at the school Jan Mann has emphasised the enthusiasm of the quintet — Stacey Hobbs, Clara Jonas, Lynn Henderson, Lauren Henderson and Jessica Nayeb — and stressed the kudos of the award, as it is equal to a GCSE.
