LITTLE Otters Childcare Centre were pleased to welcome PCSO Sam Smith and PC Ed Burrows from Camelford Police Station recently.

The children at the centre are currently learning about 'people who help us'. When the children made a mind map of people who help them, the police were suggested by one child.

All of the children were delighted to take turns in the police car, sounding the sirens and cordoning off the area with police tape. They then took part in a finger painting activity and dressed up in uniform.

The youngest child to take part in the finger printing was Bethany Redwood, aged only 23 months.

Little Otters is a charity based organisation, providing care for children aged from birth to 11 years old.
