FOLLOWING a nationwide questionnaire, which students from Sir James Smith's Community School contributed to, a meeting focusing on young people was held in Camelford recently.

The meeting, at Camelford Hall, was held following the release of findings from the Children's Society questionnaire, which was entitled the 'Good Childhood Conversation'.

The students contributing were asked questions about their local area, its facilities, how safe they felt in their neighbourhood and what made them happy.

At the meeting, held on February 1, those attending focused on what it is like to live in the Camelford area if you are a young person, and what adults can do to help. Organised by the Children's Society, it was run by Good Childhood advisor Jim Davis.
