A?MAN from Camel­ford died on Friday at the Creamfields Festival in Cheshire.

Police confirmed they were notified following concerns for a man in one of the campsites, but he later died.

He has been named locally as Joe Sheppard, aged 26.

Tributes to Joe have been posted on social media sites, including by his employer JDM Garage UK.

They said: “It is with heartfelt sadness that we inform you our friend, college, employee Joe has passed away over night last night. Our thoughts are with Joe’s family at this difficult time.”

Police are awaiting the results of the post mortem examination.
