A RECENT appeal in the 'Post' for feathers by the Camelford Association of Residents (CAR) has proved successful.

Organisers of the forthcoming Camelford 750th Charter celebrations needed a quantity of feathers for an Adult Education day which will demonstrate medieval crafts and in particular quill making in the Methodist Church.

Clare Ireland from CAR said: "We had a terrific response and now have sufficient for the tutor to make quill pens during our study day on June 27."

She expressed thanks to those who telephoned but whose feathers they were unable to use.
