SIXTEEN club members attended the annual open day for Camelford and District Bowling Club at Lanteglos Road on Saturday, April 30 and were pleased to welcome six prospective new members. Three ladies and three men spent an interesting afternoon under the guidance of club coaches Neill Wright and Alan Simon. The afternoon started off dry but very cloudy and then the heavens opened with a persistent shower which, truly, was very welcomed apart from the players. A welcome cup of tea and biscuits followed before a final flurry of three or four ends were again halted by rain.
