IN AN effort to raise money for MENCAP (the Co-operative's charity of the year) a Camelford Co-op employee is to ride the longest zip wire in England on May 15 at the Adrenalin Quarry near Liskeard, potentially reaching speeds of up to 40mph. Eileen Spry will ride the length of the 490 metre cable once she gets over the initial 50 metre high starting point.
