Camelford Town Band held their summer fete at Enfield Park, Camelford, on Saturday, August 22. It was the first time for a few years that they have held a fete in aid of the band, and despite some wet weather, the attendance was very good and the sum of £658 was raised. Thanks have been expressed to all those who gave donations and helped on the day to make the event such a great success. The money raised will be divided between the town band and the newly formed youth band. Anyone interested in joining the bands are most welcome. Members rehearse every Friday in the Methodist Chapel, Camelford at 7.30pm and the youth band at 6.30pm. For more information, please contact Ann Brown on 01566- 867000 or Nigel Hicks on 01840 212520.

Samaria Simmons and Catlin Hodgson are pictured, proudly displaying the medals they won at the event.
